On-screen character Tom Hardy captured a man who had supposedly stolen a motorbike in London, police have said.
The Hollywood star ventured in after two youngsters on the bicycle collided with an auto in Richmond, south-west London, on Sunday evening.
They kept running off before one was snatched by the Mad Max and Taboo star and the other was captured by a cop.
Two 16-year-olds have been captured on doubt of burglary of an engine vehicle, police said.
Witness Arun Pullen revealed to The Sun daily paper: “Tom more likely than not been strolling not far off.
“He went off like a shot in interest and looked enraged.
“I asked Tom what happened and he disclosed to me he pursued him through my back garden and got him around the piece – however the course resembled an attack course.”
A Richmond Police representative stated: “We can affirm that there were two individuals on a stolen moped that experienced a red light and collided with another vehicle.
“The guys kept running off and one was confined by Tom Hardy.
“Both suspects were at first brought to healing facility with non-life debilitating wounds.”
A Metropolitan Police representative later cleared up the stolen vehicle was a motorbike and that individuals from general society confined the rider.
