Applications make our daily lives easier, allowing us to perform all kinds of tasks, from ordering food to booking travel, right from our phones. But what if you could replace all those apps with one seamless AI assistant that performs all your tasks instead?
At next week's Mobile World Congress (MWC), Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile's majority shareholder, will introduce a concept AI that uses an AI assistant to bypass the need for apps and perform tasks on your phone. They are planning to release a mobile phone.

Powered by Brain.ai, the phone's generative AI interface can take over the functionality of various apps and predict and generate what to do next to carry out the end goal the user desires.
“The artificial intelligence (AI)-based assistant replaces the countless apps on your smartphone,” T-Mobile said in a press release. “Like a concierge, an assistant understands your goals and takes care of every detail.”
For example, if you want to book a trip, instead of going to some app yourself to complete the task, you can ask your phone to make a reservation by voice or text and it will take the necessary steps to do so. No need to open the app.
The concept will be showcased at MWC with Deutsche Telekom's T Phone, which is already on sale in the European market, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 reference design, which has AI processing on the device.
