Discord is one of the best messaging apps you can use, especially if you want to focus on building a community rather than simple one-on-one conversations with friends and family. Discord has a robust desktop and web experience, and mobile apps have long imitated it. Discord recently announced a new layout for its mobile app that appears to be optimized for a mobile-first experience. However, so far users don't seem to like the update, and Discord may have also prompted a significant number of users to cancel their Discord Nitro subscriptions.

Even if you don't update your app or revert to an older version of your app, server-side updates will force the new layout to be used. Some fake websites mention instructions, but these instructions are outdated or incorrect and do not apply to stable rollouts.
Unfortunately, users will have to accept the new update or consider alternatives.
