“Intersecting layout” by Garrett ReinekeThe 2010 Hastings College graduate's work is on display through Oct. 17 in the East Gallery of the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center (700 E. 12th Street).
Reinek's work includes abstract ceramic sculptures derived from experiences and visions one might encounter while moving through an urban environment.
The gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
a Exhibition reception Join JDAC on Friday, September 29th at 7:30pm as part of the University's Homecoming Celebration. The reception will follow the Hastings College Fine Arts Hall of Fame induction in the Scott Studio Theater earlier in the evening.
The exhibition “Sourcing Our Surroundings'', which was scheduled to end last week, is on display until October 17th. It is on display at JDAC's West Gallery.
About Reineke
Garrett Reineke was born and lives in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Hastings College with degrees in Art/Ceramics and Business. Reyneke earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Wichita State University in 2018. Since then, he has spent time as a studio assistant for artists such as Jun Kaneko, Conrad Snyder, and John Balistreri. Reyneke teaches at Butler Community College, Wichita State University, and Newman University. He is an artist in residence at Watershed's Center for Ceramic Arts and has exhibited at the National Juried Exhibition in Wichita and the 10th Annual Exhibition “Beyond the Brick Yard” in Helena, Montana. We exhibited our works.
