A new crypto project backed by the team at Polygon (MATIC) aims to introduce a new “proof of humanity” protocol.
Humanity Institution is partnering with Polygon Labs and Animoca Brands to introduce a new zero-knowledge proof Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) compatible blockchain using palm scanning technology, according to a new press release.
This protocol, which uses palm scanning technology to prove the user is real and not AI, is similar to how Sam Altman's World Coin (WLD) uses iris scanning technology to verify identity. relies on a “proof of humanity” mechanism. The lack of such intrusive identity protocols gives Humanity Protocol an advantage, the announcement said.
