Added GTF MRO repair capabilities for 235 parts by 2025
Singapore, February 20, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — (Singapore Air Show) Pratt & Whitney, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, today announced a company-wide increase in industrialization of repairs for certain components of Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines. SingaporeBase maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities including Component Aerospace Singapore, Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions, and Turbine Overhaul Services.
These three facilities have achieved industrialized repairs for 33 components, including seal assemblies, high-pressure compressor stator segments and vanes, and combustion chambers. Another 25 pieces will be completed in 2024, and another 177 pieces will be completed by 2025.
