Over the past 20 years, I've seen so many amazing gadgets that it sometimes seems like they exist solely for journalists like me to write about them. It's time to call out some truly amazing devices of the past 25 years – some of the weirdest and worst. Vacuum cleaner shoes, toilet paper robots, MP3 weapon holsters, it's your time to shine!
What's most interesting about the rogue gallery below is that some of these products (Pepe pet dryer, HapiFork, Hushme, to name a few) are still on sale. that's right. Dear maniacs, you made it a blast.

Dyson Zone Air Purifying Headphones
While this isn't technically a CES product as it was announced sometime in 2022, Dyson did demo the Zone headphones in Las Vegas during CES 2023. The Zone looks like a coronavirus mask, but unfortunately it's not. According to Dyson's website, Zone's development began in 2016 as a personal air filter (primarily as a pollution control measure) and was not designed to protect against disease. What's more, one critic claims that the gadget's powered fan could even help. Maximize your chances of contracting the coronavirus. Computer peripherals maker Razer is the king of creating CES-specific “look at me” products, but toilet tissue brand Charmin gained notoriety with this 2020 entry. Throughout history, there have been many gadgets designed to limit normal human behavior, but this one stands at the top of the list. HapiFork is another of his vibrating gadgets that tells you to eat slowly (20 minutes or more) with the idea of reducing your chances of overeating. Personally, I devour my meals like I'm in prison, so do your worst, HapiFork. Eat with your hands if you have to! You are not my boss!

The original Belty was a prototype smart belt with a built-in motor that automatically adjusted depending on whether you were eating or sitting. Totally impractical, but kinda cool, right? There's also a newer model called Belty, which is even weirder. There is no automatic size adjustment function, but there is a power bank charger on the buckle. OK, I'm not the only one do not have I want a potentially volatile compound near the Nether, but I don't want to connect a bunch of devices to it.

Xybernote Poma
