AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – If you're always looking for new ways to be more productive and effective, you've probably turned to the app store for help.
There are plenty of productivity apps out there, but if you're constantly jotting down notes or working on big projects, a note-taking app will definitely improve your work.
Google and Apple's free Notes apps are great for quick notes and scans, but they don't make it easy to organize your notes or create larger projects.
We found Goodnotes 6. And you may have finally stopped looking for an alternative to Evernote.
Goodnotes 6 is truly a versatile, do-it-all platform for taking notes, writing long articles, sharing projects, and using it as a daily planner. Especially recommended for people who like taking notes by hand.
Where do I start with this app?
The interface is very clean and uncluttered. From the beginning, create a notebook where you can organize your notes. For students in English classes, you can save all the notes you take in a specific folder.
Like most other note-taking apps, there are font options, ink colors, and highlighters. You can also include links, images, and audio in your notes. This could include things like what your professor said or what your colleagues pointed out about your project.
The new features in Goodnotes 6 are great.
If you take notes by hand and make spelling mistakes, the app will correct the typos to match your handwriting.
All content within your notes is searchable by keyword. Even if your handwriting isn't great, you can search for any word and Goodnotes will find the notes you're looking for.
The improved Lasso tool lets you select any section of your notes and move it to another location on the page.
New artificial intelligence features answer math problems and rewrite paragraphs to make them more professional or more casual. Similar to Chat GPT, we've added information if you've asked us to mention other note-taking apps.
We have free templates for all kinds of projects, including templates for creating daily planners. Other templates are also available for purchase.
Notes can be exported as PDF and saved on any device or computer.
Sync your notes across all your devices.
Goodnotes 6 is free with up to 3 notebooks. If you need more, the $9.99 annual subscription is a great value.
I found it to be fine on my phone, but if you have an iPad, Samsung tablet, and stylus, Goodnotes 6 is a must.
Goodnotes is also available for free at schools.
